Denise Fiddler
CEO & Founder, Chartered MCIPD, MA
Denise has over 30 years of HR experience, including at board level. She felt the negative effects of menopause while working in a senior role, which fuelled a personal passion to help others avoid the same fate.
In November 2022, Denise appeared on the popular ITV programme This Morning, supporting Dr Philippa and Lisa Snowdon as they took the ‘Menopause Bus’ on tour in the UK to promote awareness. As Denise says, “menopause directly affects half the population while indirectly affecting the rest!”
Celebrities like Lisa Snowdon and Davina McCall have spoken out about menopause in recent years, which has helped to lessen its stigma in public. However, Denise has seen first-hand that many businesses still aren’t taking a proactive approach, which means they risk legal action as well as losing talented staff.
Having advised a wealth of top-tier companies in her HR consultancy role, Denise is passionate about showing employers how best to offer practical support for menopause – and thrive in the process.
As part of the Talking 12 panel, Denise combines workplace menopause guidance with strategic HR insight, helping organisations create inclusive and supportive cultures, reduce risk, improve retention and ensure valuable talent remains engaged and successful in their careers.

Nicola Moore
Registered Nutritional Therapist
Nicola is a nutritional therapist with 25 years’ experience, working with more than a thousand clients, many of whom are navigating the metabolic, emotional and hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause. She is also a Fellow of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and spent over a decade on the senior academic team at the Institute, training and mentoring nutrition practitioners.
Alongside her clinical work, Nicola regularly speaks and teaches in both professional and workplace settings, contributing to panel discussions, Q&As, talks and workshops that translate complex science into practical, realistic guidance people can actually apply.
Nicola's particular interest in this area lies in helping women understand the physiological drivers behind changes in appetite, energy, mood, resilience and weight regulation during this life stage. She also brings a nutrigenomics perspective, exploring how genetic differences can influence how individuals experience stress, neurotransmitter balance and metabolic change during the menopausal transition. When explained well, this science can be incredibly reassuring for women who may otherwise feel confused or self-critical about changes they’re experiencing.
However, her overall philosophy is always grounded in practicality and compassion. After many years working with women balancing demanding careers and busy lives, Nicola has found that the most impactful support focuses on clarity, realistic strategies and removing the confusion that often surrounds nutrition.
Because of this, nutrition can become one of the most empowering areas of workplace menopause support, giving employees tangible ways to support their energy, cognitive function, mood and metabolic health during a time of significant change.
As part of the Talking 12 panel, Nicola provides evidence-based nutritional expertise, helping women understand the impact of nutrition on their overall health and wellbeing during perimenopause and menopause, alongside offering practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life.
